Attendance at Mahora School
Regular attendance is important for learning, wellbeing and connection. At Mahora School we work in partnership with whānau to support every child to attend school regularly and feel connected to the life of the kura.
Our approach focuses on early support, strong relationships with whānau and clear follow-up when attendance patterns begin to change. When tamariki attend regularly they are better able to build friendships, keep up with learning and take part in the many opportunities school offers.
The Mahora School Attendance Plan outlines how we monitor attendance, how we respond when attendance drops and the ways we support tamariki and whānau to improve attendance.
