Description - 

Location - it is found from Northland and Coromandel outcrops, down to the subantarctic Auckland Islands.


Uses

Native birds such as the Tūī, bellbird and kākā, reside in Rātā trees. Lots of bugs and bees eat the nectar from the flowers.


Planting

The best time to plant is Autumn and early Winter.
