Welcome to Mahora School

It is my real pleasure to welcome you to Mahora School. My name is Rohan Pearse and I am the principal of Mahora School. I started here in 2012 and have discovered a FABULOUS school!

Mahora School has a proud tradition of highly successful education and I know this will continue in the future. I believe its important for children to be challenged, to be encouraged to ‘Have a Go’ and to develop positive attitudes while at school. All this needs to be provided in a FUN environment…why wouldn’t we want school to be fun! Our school motto of ‘Piki Haere’ stands for ‘Keep on Climbing’…a wonderful concept for us all. I can assure you, as a school we are on the way up!

I am excited about being at Mahora and would love to share more of our school with you. Please don’t hesitate to call and meet with me so I can share some of the future developments. Every day is an open day at Mahora School…there is always something exciting happening.
