Description - Soft white furry underside of leaves. Yellowish, green with dark green veins giving the upper surface of the leaf a marbled appearance.
Location - coastal and lowland forest and regenerating scrub in the North Island and northern South Island.
Uses
Rangiora can be used for plenty of medicinal uses.

Purakau
The Rangiora is known for its medicinal properties, with antiseptic qualities. Used for wounds and ulcerated sores. Can be chewed for bad breath but poisonous if swallowed.
